      Dr. Wu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of orbital diseases and tumors, orbital inflammation, orbital wall fracture, thyroid-related eye diseases and oculoplastics surgery. He specializes in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of thyroid-related eye diseases, endoscopic surgical treatment of acute and chronic dacryocystitis and lacrimal duct disease by dacryocystorhinostectomy and surgical tretment of other naso-orbital related diseases.  In 2010, he graduated from Tianjin Medical University with a PhD degree. From 2012 to 2014, he studied at the Kellogg Eye Center of the University of Michigan in the United States and completed his fellow training. During this period, he joined the team of Prof. Smith and Prof. Douglas, a renowned research team in thyroid-related eye diseases, and participated in basic research on the pathogenesis of thyroid-related eye diseases and related therapeutic drugs, and participated in major breakthroughs in the development of novel drugs for thyroid-related eye diseases. In 2016, he received training in endoscopy and minimally invasive medical ophthalmology from the National Health and Family Planning Commission and received a certificate of qualification in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery. In 2017, he won the first place in the 4th International Ophthalmic Endoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery Competition. He was invited to participate in the 3rd International Symposium on Thyroid-related Eye Diseases during his training in Singapore in 2018 as a "Future Star" of Chinese ophthalmic endoscopy.

      Dr. Wu chaired and participated many projects from National Natural Science Foundation and the National Health and Family Planning Commission in Tianjin, including the host of a National Natural Science Foundation and the participation of a major collaborative project of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. He has published more than twenty papers, including 9 papers collected by SCI. He also published many SCI papers in influential academic journals such as Thyroid and Gene Therapy.
